Heinz Pickling Vinegar Base Traditional



Refrigerate after opening. Directions for Quick Pickling: 1. Wash vegetables and cut to desired size. Place in clean jars with lids. 2. Bring the Pickling base to a simmer in small saucepan. 3. Pour into jars, completely covering vegetables and filling jars to within 1/2 inch of rims. 4. Cover with lids and cool completely. Refrigerate at least 12 hours, or up to 18 hours, before serving. 5. Pickles can be refrigerated for up to 1 week. Add your choice of dry seasonings and/or fresh or dried herbs to the Pickling Base before bringing to boil and using as directed. *Use about 1 cup of Pickling Base per jar.
