Directions

Cooking Directions: Simmer: Put contents of package in 1 cup boiling water and bring to a second boil. Separate with fork, if necessary, for uniform cooking. Reduce heat and cover; simmer 3 to 4 minutes, until just tender. Do not overcook. Drain and season to taste. Steam: Put contents of package in vegetable steamer over boiling water. Cover and steam 8 to 10 minutes, until just tender. Half-way through cooking time, separate with fork, if necessary, for uniform cooking. Season to taste. Microwave ovens: Put contents of package in 1-quart microwave-safe dish. Cover and cook on high for 4 minutes*. Separate with fork, if necessary, and stir. Cook 3 minutes longer. Season to taste. *microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another. For best results, consult owners manual. To store: Keep frozen until ready to use. If thawed, cook promptly. Store at 0 degrees F. Check freezer temperature with thermometer and adjust controls as needed. Keep frozen.
