Directions

For best sanding results, sand with the grain of the wood through a sequence of grits, from coarse to extra fine, skipping no more than one grit between sanding steps. The gold color abrasive will not discolor the surface you are sanding.

 

Description

9 in x 11 in (22.8 cm x 27.9 cm) ea. Use wet or dry. Durable; support. Clog resistant. You can sand with less effort and less hand fatigue (When compared to 3M conventional abrasives of comparable grit) using 3M SandBlaster Advanced Sanding Sheets with no-slip grip backing and premium mineral technology. The clog-resistant coating has a long life and can be used wet or dry. Sand by hand, on a large sanding tool or a sanding block. Sandpaper Selection Chart: Removes: 60 grit; Use: Heavy removal. Removes: 80 grit; Use: Moderate removal. Smooths: 100 grit; Use: Removes flaws. Smooths: 120 grit; Use: Flatters grain. Smooths: 150 grit; Use: Smooths wood. Finishes: 180 grit; Use: Levels finish. Finishes: 220 grit; Use: Scutts finish. Finishes: 320 grit; Use: Smooths finish. Finishes: 400 grit; Use: Final finish. Excluding North America.
