Noodle Preparation: Bring two quarts water to a rapid boil. Add noodles and cook for 3 minutes. Drain. Cover with cold water to cool noodles, drain well. Use cooked noodles to make delicious stir fry, soup, salad, and casserole dishes. Yakisoba Pan-Fried Noodles: Heat oil in a large pan. Add chopped vegetables and meats of your choice. When almost done, add cooked noodles and stir until heated through. At the last step, season with Worcestershire sauce for Japanese Yakisoba, soy sauce, oyster sauce, or other seasonings of your choice. Garlic Noodles: Chop one clove of fresh garlic. Heat oil in pan, add garlic, and stir to season oil. Add cooked noodles and stir until heated through. Season with salt and pepper. Hiyashi Chuka Cold Noodle Salad: Place cooked noodles in ice water, drain well. Place onto large plate, and add toppings of your choice sliced cooked chicken or ham, cucumber slices, egg omelet strips, pickled ginger slices. Add sauce. Combine: 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 to 3 tablespoons sugar, 3 tablespoons rice vinegar, 3 tablespoons chicken stock or water, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, 2 tablespoons roasted sesame seeds.
