Directions for Use: It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Wash hands with soap and water promptly after use. This product is not for use on vegetable or other food crops, timber or plants grown for sale or other commercial use, or for commercial seed production, or for research purposes. Application Restrictions: Do not apply this product in a way that will contact any person or pet, either directly or through drift. Keep people and pets out of the area during application. Avoid making applications if it is likely to rain within 24 hours of application, except when applying directly adjacent to a structure that is permanently protected from rainfall by a covering, overhang, awning, or other structure. Do not apply granules to impervious surfaces. Application Tips: For best results, apply in early morning or late afternoon when ants are most active. Do not apply when ground is soaking wet or when heavy rains are expected. Do not water-in after application. Amdro Fire Ant Killer for Mounds controls imported and native fire ants and other ants, such as harvester ants, bigheaded ants and Argentine ants. Amdro Fire Ant Killer for Mounds is for use only on lawns, landscaped areas, and other noncropland areas, as well as on grounds surrounding poultry houses (excluding runs and ranges) or corrals and other animal holding areas. Amdro Fire Ant Killer for Mounds may be applied to pastures and rangeland if used only for Compion animals (horses, llamas, etc.). Companion animals grazed on treated areas cannot be used for food or feed. Do not graze or feed treated lawn or sod clippings to livestock. Avoid direct exposure of animals to Amdro Fire Ant Killer for Mounds granules. Outdoor Use: For large, infested areas: Using a hand-held granular spreader, broadcast Amdro Fire Ant Killer for Mounds at 2 to 4 ounces per 5,000 square feet (1 to 2 pounds per acre). Do not exceed four broadcast applications per year. Observe a minimum retreatment interval for broadcast applications of 30 days. For individual mounds: Sprinkle 2 to 5 level tablespoons of this product around the mound. Do not disturb the mound. Use a disposable scoop (do not use a kitchen utensil). For best results, apply this product when ants are active. Repeat application as needed. Sprinkle 2 to 5 tbsp around the mound. Storage & Disposal: Pesticide Storage Store in cool, dry, secure place and keep container closed. Store container away from pets. When properly stored, this product will retain its effectiveness for up to 3 months after the package has been opened. Pesticide Disposal If partially filled-Call, your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Hever place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain. Container Handling Nonrefillable container. If empty-Do not reuse or refill this container. Place in trash or offer for recycling if available.
