Purple Cushion Intructions The cover is washable. Use a gentle warm or cold cycle with gentle detergent. Air dry or tumble dry without heat to ensure the cover does not shrink. The Purple component is also washable by hand washing in warm water with a liquid soap. The top of the cushion is the simple black side (with no rubberized materials for gripping). When reinserting the Purple component of your cushion into the cover, such as after a washing cycle, we have found it easiest to do so by folding the Purple in half and insertingh it folded. Once it is most of the way into the cover, flatten it out. Be sure the sides with the rounded edge of finer matrix of Purple will be the top of the cushion upon unfolding the gel. You may need to reach into the cover to pull it up onto the cushion and into position if it is bunched up. Important: do not leave this cushion in a car that is super-heated by the summer sun, and particularly do not leave it in a car the will potentially super-heat when the cushion is in a state of being queezed or otherwise deformed. If super-heating occurs to your cushion that is not being queezed or otherwise deformed, it will not harm your cushion provided you allow it to cool to under 105 degrees F before sitting or otherwise deforming it. Note that the Purple itself must cool down which can take up to 30 minutes after the car's air cooled to room temperature. If you must leave the cushion in a car that may get super-heated, placing the cushion on the car floor under the seat will usually keep it from becoming super-heated as well. We apologize for this inconvenience, but we have no doubt that you will find Purple is worth the extra precaution. Purple will not accept returns of, or provide refunds for, cushions for which this precaution has not been observed.
