For food safety and quality, follow the cooking directions. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 160 degrees F. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Refrigerate leftovers. Note: the natural color of organic purple carrots may tint the other vegetables. Heat 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. Carefully add grain blend. Cover; cook 12 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender. If desired, season with salt and pepper to taste. Tip: Serve cooked farro blend with desired toppings: Shredded parmesan cheese.
