Cooking Directions: Simmer: For each 8 ounces (approximately 1/4 bag) of mixed vegetables, bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. Add vegetables and bring to a second boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 5 to 7 minutes, until just tender. Do not overcook. Drain. Season to taste. Steam: Pour 8 ounces (approximately 1/4 bag) of mixed vegetables in vegetable steamer and place over boiling water. Cover and steam 7 to 9 minutes, until just tender. Season to taste. Microwave ovens: Pour mixed vegetables in 1-1/2 quart microwave-safe dish. Add water and cover. Microwave on high as directed on chart. Season to taste. Servings - 2 large - 11. Amount - 8 oz - 32 oz. Water - 2 tablespoons - 4 tablespoons. Cooking time* - 4 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 5 minutes. - 8 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 8 minutes. *Microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another. For best results, consult owners manual. Keep frozen until ready to use.
