Directions: Dry milk powder - cold water - yields this much liquid nonfat milk. 1/3 cup - 7/8 cup - 1 cup. 1 1/3 cups - 3 3/4 cups - 1 quart. 2 2/3 cups - 7 1/2 cups - 2 quarts. 6 2/3 cups - 4 1/2 quarts - 5 quarts. Entire package - 7 1/2 quarts - 8 quarts. 3 easy ways to mix: Stir. Following amounts listed above, fill any suitable container with instant nonfat dry milk and add water. Stir vigorously. Shake. Cover tightly and shake for 30 seconds. Blend. Set blender at lowest speed for 15 seconds. Drink or use immediately, or cover and store in a tightly sealed glass container and refrigerate. Use for cooking or baking. When the recipe calls for milk, just use the stated amount of liquid instant nonfat dry milk. Instant nonfat dry milk requires no refrigeration until prepared. It's made from fresh, sweet, pasteurized whole milk from which only the water and fat have been removed. Since it contains less fat, instant nonfat dry milk is ideal for waistline watchers.
