Fin/Trim shear test results: Diameter: No. 8; 388 lbf avg. ultimate load. No. 9; 520 lbf avg. ultimate load. Please note the above stated values are ultimate load, tested after ASTM D 1761, Wood to Wood connection for sizes 2-1/2 inches to 3-1/8 inches in length.
