Suggested Uses: Window jambs, Door jambs, interior trim, crown molding, fine carpentry applications. FIN/Trim shear test results: Diameter #8; Avg. Ultimate Load: 388 lbf. Diameter #9; Avg. Ultimate Load 520 lbf. Please not the above stated values are ultimate load, tested after ASTM D 1761, wood to wood connection. For construction design purposes an applicable safety margin should be applied. For safety factor requirements in your area contact your local building official, architect or engineer.
