When you season and marinade fresh meats with whole, roasted, or diced ingredients from farms-not just dried spices-you get a fresher homemade flavor. It's not the easiest way to do things, or the quickest, but I think you'll agree you can taste the difference -Duke. This batch was freshly crafted with a Pineapple Teriyaki: not all teriyaki marinades are equal. These Smoked Shorty Sausages are crafted using a teriyaki marinade made with 100% real crushed pineapple. We then slow smoked them with a blend of hickory and orange wood for the perfect balance of sweet, tangy and salty. Fresh never-frozen pork: we start with fresh, never frozen, pork that has never been given added hormones (federal regulations prohibit the use of hormones in pork). Orange wood smoke blend: orange and hickory wood smoke adds subtle sweet smokiness to the tangy teriyaki glaze. Small batch care: Batch case qty. Hand-hung and slow-dried for days in small limited size batches. No added MSG (except for that naturally occurring in soy sauce). Liquid smoke.
