Directions
1. Remove existing lockset & latch from door. Loosen set screw and remove lever. 2. Measure the backset of your door 2-3/8 inches or 2-3/4 inches (60 mm or 70 mm). 3. For a 2-3/4 inches (70mm) backset, move the spring pin to the 2-3/4 inches slot. 4. Select the latch option you desire & prepare as shown. Options: (A) Insert latch into the back plate. (B) Position desired faceplate over latch bolt & snap it onto the back plate. (C) Install the latch assembly into a 1 inch or 7/8 inches diameter hole, making sure that the slant of bolt faces in the direction that the door closes. This option requires a 1 inch (25 mm) diameter hole. (A) Slide collar onto latch, allowing catch pins (a) to snap into the notches (b) of collar. (B) Install the latch into a 1 inch diameter hole with the slant of bolt facing in the direction that the door closes.
