Installation Instructions: 1. Pace top hinge 5 inches to 6 inches from the top of the door. 2. Place the bottom hinge 10 inches from the bottom of the door. 3. Center middle hinge between the top and bottom hinges. 4. Outline each hinge location with pencil (make sure holes for the adjusting wrench are facing up). 5. Mortise door and frame to hinge thickness. 6. Mark screw locations for each hinge. 7. Drill 5/32 inch pilot hole on marked screw locations. 8. Fasten hinge to desired location. 9. Adjust closing force with the rod provided by rotating clockwise and insert locking pin to the right of the adjusting rod. Remove adjusting rod. 10. Do not exceed three holes tension for 180 degree door opening, or four holes tension for 90 degree opening. 11. When door closing speed adjustment is satisfactory, drive locking pin flush with hinge tube. Tools Required: Pencil, no. 2 Phillips screwdriver, drill, 5/32 inch drill bit, wood chisel. Maximum Door Weight: 1 hinge - 60 lbs; 2 hinges; 85 lbs; 3 hinges - 110 lbs.
