Dishwasher safe (lids top rack only). *Oven safe up to 400&#176F (204&#176C). Do not put lid in the oven. See usage instructions for more information. Use and Care Instructions. Cleaning: Dishwasher safe, lid top rack only. Clean with non-abrasive, non-scratch pads or cleaner. Only clean the glass when is cooled or at room temperature. Exposing glass to large temperature changes may cause the glass to break. For more stubborn messes, first allow glass to cool, than let container soak with soap and water before cleaning with a non-abrasive pad. Do not add cold water to your hot Ziploc brad VersaGlass container or place hot glass in the sink. Use for Heating Up Food: Exposing glass to large changes in temperature may cause the glass to break. Follow these heating instructions for safe use. Defrost/thaw food before reheating. Do not use your Ziploc brand VersaGlass container under a broiler, in a toaster oven, directly on a stovetop or over an open flame. Microwave safe; do not use the browning/crisp function. Overheating foods that are high in fat, butter or sugars in the microwave may damage the glass and/or lid. Do not use plastic lid in the conventional oven. When microwaving, remove the lid and rest it on the top of the container to use as a splatter guard; do not have the lid pressed securely down. handle hot containers with dry hot pads or a dry cloth. If Ziploc brad VersaGlass container is used in the oven, do not exceed 400°F (240°C). Use for storing and serving food: Wash the Ziploc brand VersaGlass container and lid thoroughly before use. Store food in your Ziploc brand VersaGlass container in the refrigerator, freezer or pantry; do not store container in the oven with the lid on. Use your Ziploc brand VersaGlass container as a serving dish, but always place hot containers on a dry pot holder or cooling rack; never place your hot container on a wet or cold surface. Avoid putting cold liquids into a hot Ziploc brand VersaGlass container or hot liquids in a Ziploc brand VersaGlass container that's been in the freezer. Wait until the container is at room temperature. The capacity marked on the Ziploc brand VersaGlass container is measured without the lid. When attaching the lid, leave approximately 3/4 inch (2cm) of space at the top of the container to allow the lid to fit without any spillage.
