Our bourbon is naturally colored and flavored with sustainable woods from around the world, there are no artificial flavors or colors added. In this hickory wood finished bourbon, you'll notice smoky characteristics, similar to some you would find in a scotch, along with toffee, spice, and some vanilla to round out the palate. 50 million years. That's how fat back archaeologists trace the hickory tree. Strong enough to survive the catastrophic effects of the Ice Age. Pioneers trekking Westward in the 1840s made hickory the go-to wood for their wagon wheels. And in the months leading to December 17, 1903, two brothers who ran a bicycle repair shop in Dayton, Ohio whittled hickory in their spare time to create their flying machine and the birth of human flight.
