Outdoor Gardens: New Plantings: During bed preparation,mix in 1-1/3 cups of All Purpose Fertilizer for every 10 square feet of growing area, or 1-1/2 cups for every 12 feet of planting row. Till the soil to a depth of 6 to 12 inches and water well. Established Plants: Use 1 cup for every 10 sq. feet of growing area, or or 3/4 cup for every 12 feet of row. Work in gently and water thoroughly. When to Apply: Every 2 months year-round. Potted Plants: New Plantings: When potting plants, mix 2 heaping tablespoons of All Purpose Fertilizer per gallon of potting soil, or add 1/2 cup per 1/2 cubic foot (approx. 5 gallons) of potting soil. Mix the soil and fertilizer thoroughly. Water well. Your new plants will love it! Established Plants: Sprinkle 2 tablespoons for every 6 inches of pot diameter, or 1/2 cup per 1/2 cubic foot (approx. 5 gallons) of soil. Work in gently and water thoroughly. When to Apply: Every other month year-round. Trees and Shrubs: New Plantings: Before you plant, add 2 cups of All Purpose Fertilizer to the soil that will be used to fill the tree or shrub hole. Once planting is completed, add an additional cup and cultivate gently into the top 6 to 12 inches of planting surface. Water thoroughly. This bag contains approximately 2 cups. Established Plants: Use 2 cups for every inch of trunk diameter (measured at 4 inch - 6 inch above soil line). Work into the soil gently inside of the drip line. Water thoroughly. When to Apply: Every 2 months year-round. Storage: Store in a dry cool place. Avoid direct sunlight.
