Cooking Instructions: Rice + Mochi Barley: Stove Top or Rice Cooker: Measure rice. Add regular water amount for rice cooking. Add mochi barley depending on rice amount: about 1/4 cup (1.8 oz) of mochi barley per 1 cup or rice. Add about 1/2 cup (3.5 fl oz) water per 1/4 cup of mochi mugi. Follow your usual stove top method or rice cooker setting. Just Mochi Barley: Tip: Cook like pasta! Boil water in a pan. Pour mochi barley into the boiling water. Reduce the heat to medium. Simmer it for 15-20 minutes until mochi mugi is tender. Drain in a colander. Cook with rice for a gourmet taste.
