Directions
Compost Tea - It's easy! You will need a 5 gallon bucket. Fill the bucket 3/4 full with water and let is sit for 24 hours (to allow chlorine gas to evaporate). After 24 hours, add approximately 1 gallon of Dr. Earth Trubiotic soil and 1 ounce of unsulfured molasses (extra food for the microbes!) to the water. To kick it up a notch, add Dr. Earth Premium Gold All Purpose Fertilizer 4-4-4 to the compost tea for an additional boost. Stir the soil and water well until the soil is completely wet and the water is a rich, dark brown color. Use your tea within 24 hours of brewing. Soil Drench Application: Apply directly to the soil around your plant at a rate of 1 cup tea to your plants monthly. Foliar Application - Sprayer or Watering Can: Filter resulting tea through folded cheesecloth. If using a watering can, pour liquid full strength over foliage of plants as you water tea mixture into the planting area. Apply the strained tea with a standard pump sprayer both to the top and bottom on leaves. Do not throw the solid material away; add it to the soil as much around any plant in the garden. Patio Containers & Hanging Baskets: It is important to choose a container big enough to accommodate the plant’s future growth. Check that the container has sufficient drain holes. Good drainage is very important! Transplanting: Fill the container with Dr. Earth Pot of Gold All Purpose Potting Soil until it is filled to a level that allow the base of the plant to sit 1 inch below the top of the container. Add Dr. Earth Premium Gold All Purpose Fertilizer 4-4-4 according to the package directions. Holding the plant in the desired position, continue to fill in around the roots with Dr. Earth Pot of Gold All Purpose Potting Soil and fertilizer mixture until the container is filled to 1 inch below the top of the container. Water thoroughly. Perking Up Exiting Containers: To revive the vitality of your sil in an existing container, remove the top one third of the existing soil and replace it with fresh Dr. Earth Pot of Gold All Purpose Potting Soil. Your plants will love it! Houseplants: Select a container large enough to provide ample room for future root growth. Make sure that the container has at least one drain hole to allow for proper drainage. Good drainage is very important! Fill the container with Dr. Earth Pot of Gold All Purpose Potting Soil until it is filled to a level that allows the base of the plant to sit 1 inch below the top of the container. Finish filling the container with Dr. Earth Pot of Gold All Purpose Potting Mix until the level of the soil is even with the top of the plant’s own root mass. Gently compress the Dr. Earth Pot of Gold All Purpose Potting Soil around the pots to remove air pockets. When complete, the soil level of the finished container should be approximately 1 inch below the top of the container. Water thoroughly. Choose a container with sufficient drain holes. Base of plant should sit 1 inch top of container. Storage: Store in a dry cool place. Avoid direct sunlight.
