Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 1 to 3 minutes to designed consistency. Servings: 1; Water/Milk: 1 cup; Barley: 1/4 cup; Size: 2; Water/Milk: 2 cups; Barley: 1/2 cup; Servings 4; Water/Milk: 4 cups; Barley: 1 cup. Microwave Cooking Instructions: 1. Combine 1/4 cup barley cereal and 1 cup water or milk in bowl. 2. Microwave on full power for 2-to-3 seconds minutes and stir. Acid sweetener and milk or cream to taste. For variety add cinnamon, maple syrup, berries or nuts. For a single serving.
