The normal daily feeding amount for a healthy adult dog: Dog’s Weight: 5-10 lbs; 1/4 - 3/8 lbs amount to feed per day. Dog’s Weight: 11-20 lbs; 3/8 - 1/2 lbs amount to feed per day. Dog’s Weight: 21-40 lbs; 1/2 - 1 lbs amount to feed per day. Dog’s Weight: 41-60 lbs; 1 – 1-1/2 lbs amount to feed per day. Dog’s Weight: 61-100 lbs; 1-1/2 – 2-1/4 lbs amount to feed per day. Dog’s Weight: +25 lbs; +1/4 lbs amount to feed per day. When switching foods, gradually increase the new food and decrease the previous food to help make a smooth transition.
