Puff Pastry Shells Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 360 degrees F (oven must be preheated). 2. Remove all wrapping. Place pastry shells on ungreased baking sheet with top up. Wrap unused shells in plastic wrap or silver foil and return to freezer. 3. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed. 4. Use fork to remove top and soft pastry underneath. Top may be used as a garnish. Note: Shells can be baked up to 24 hours ahead of time. 5. For extra crispness or to reheat, return shells to oven at 360 degrees F for 3-5 minutes. 6. Serve with a filling of your choice. Do not bake in microwave or toaster oven. Tips: For a more golden brown color, brush top only of unbaked pastry shells with an egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tbsp water). Dark baking sheets, parchment paper, nonstick liners, and insulated pans may affect baking time. Adjust time accordingly. Keep frozen. Keep frozen until ready to use.
