Heat in the microwave for 3 min. Fill with water (1 fl oz). Instructions for use: Wash all prior to use. Before first use, disassemble and wash all components thoroughly and sterilize by boiling in open pan of water for at least 5 minutes or in dishwasher on sterilize cycle. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents. Store nipples and vent in a dry, covered container. Always use only MAM silk soft nipple with the MAM bottles. Ensure valve is assembled correctly and the base of the bottle is firmly attached prior to filling bottle with liquid. Cleaning/sterilizing while assembled can damage the bottle. Always feed infant with adult supervision. Do not let babies self-feed. Do not prop bottle to feed. Nipples should not be used as pacifiers. Do not use pin or other sharp object to enlarge feeding hole. Do not let a child take a bottle to bed or self-feed for long periods. 1. Place silicone valve into bottle base. 2. Press down on raised perimeter of silicone valve. 3. Screw assembled base onto bottom of bottle in slow steady manner. 4. Insert nipple into top of bottle screw ring until you hear a "click". Heating instructions: Never pour boiling water into the bottle. Do not overheat. Place in a bottle warmer, under hot running water or in a container of heated water. Microwave heating is not recommended. Never heat or cool a sealed bottle. Always test temperature of formula after heating, prior to giving bottle to baby. You can test liquid temperature by dripping a drop of formula on the inside of your own wrist. This is a sensitive area to heat and cold. This will help you gauge if liquid is too warm for your baby. Self-sterilizing function of anti-colic bottle: The anti-colic bottle can be transformed into a self-sterilizing bottle by 3 simple steps. Thereby making further sterilization unnecessary. Always clean bottle parts before using the sterilizing function! Step 1: For the self-sterilization of the anti-colic bottle, assemble clean bottle parts in the following way: base with ventilation, nipple with screw ring, bottle body and protective cap. Step 2: Fill the water to first lip of cap and pour into the base.
