Cook thoroughly. Keep frozen. Prepare only one pouch at a time. Only microwave cooking is recommended. Keep frozen until ready to use. For food safety & quality, read and follow these cooking instructions. Shrimp must be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F for food safety. Caution: Escaping steam will be hot. Avoid squeezing the pouch as this can force steam out of the steam release. Steam. Release. This side up when cooking in microwave. Microwave oven cooking: Directions developed using 1100 watt and 700 watt microwave ovens. Ovens vary: cooking time may need to be adjusted. 1. Do not tear, pierce or cut pouch. Lay pouch flat in microwave with this side up. 2. 1100 watt: cook on high 5 1/2 minutes. 700 watt: cook on high 8 1/2 minutes. During cooking pouch will inflate as the steam builds. Let the pouch stand in microwave 1 minute to complete cooking. 3. Using both hands, carefully hold top and bottom seal marked by the squares labeled carefully pick up here and remove pouch from microwave. 4. Product and packaging will be hot. Avoid squeezing the pouch as this can force steam out of the steam release valve. Open the pouch carefully with scissors. Pour contents onto a plate, stir & enjoy! Shrimp are fully cooked when opaque white and have an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
