Add 1 cup of boiling water (or chicken broth, optional) to each additional cup of dry tri-color pearl couscous. 3. Cover pot and simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 4. Add salt, garlic, sauteed onions or other sauteed vegetables to taste.
