Rick's Recipe: Carne Asada Tacos. Marinate 30 in. 1 pouch Frontera Carne Asada Marinade. 1 to 1 1/2 pounds trimmed beef skirt or boneless ribeye steak. 1. Mix 1/2 of the marinade with steak in glass bowl or food-safe plastic bag. Refrigerate 30 minutes or longer for best flavor. Save remaining marinade for grilling. 2. Prepare charcoal grill or preheat gas grill or grill pan to medium-hot. 3. Grill steak, turning once, until nearly done, 2 minutes for skirt, 6 minutes for ribeye. Brush steak liberally with reserved marinade. Grill until medium-rare to medium, 1 to 3 minutes more. 4. Thinly slice steak. Serve with warm tortillas, chopped onion, cilantro and salsa for soft tacos.
