For best results: Load dishes properly - soiled surfaces should face water spray. Do not block spray to top rack. Fill all cups completely - for heavy soiled dishes or hard water, use slightly more detergent. Use less detergent for very soft water. To avoid dishware damage - check manufacturer's instructions to make sure items are dishwasher safe. Separate stainless steel from sterling silver. Do not spill detergent directly onto silverware. Pre-soak when needed - for tough to clean cookware, pre-soak in solution of 1 tablespoon automatic dishwasher detergent to 1 quart hot water. Do not pre-soak silver or cast iron items. Close spout after every use. Store in a cool, dry place. Use within a few months of purchase.
