Directions for Use: It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. When to Apply: Early morning or evening is the best time to apply this bait since slugs and snails travel and feed in the night or early morning. Reapply as the bait is consumed or at 14 day intervals. In areas of severe infestation, apply bait more heavily. Where to Apply: On lawns, perimeter of home, around ornamental parts (flowers, shrubs & trees) and in Home Gardens. All likely areas of infestation should be treated, especially around the perimeter of garden plots because slugs and snails travel into plant areas from daytime hiding places. Apply bait around the base of plantings that show visible damage. Slugs and snails from damp places around vegetable plants such as beans, tomatoes, lettuce, cabbage, celery and squash. Slugs and snails often seek shelter inside large leafy plantings like hostas & dahlias. Other favorite areas are lower gardens, rock gardens, hedges, dichondra lawns, citrus groves, ivy patches, and other ground cover where they obtain shelter by day. How to Apply: Do not use kitchen utensils for measuring! Safer brands. Slugs and snails killer should be applied evenly to the soil around or near plants and areas to be protected. Apply while the ground is moist, in early morning, late evening, or after rainfall. If the ground is dry, wet it before applying the bait. The soil should be moist, but with little or no standing water. For row applications, place prescribed amount of product around base of plant by hand. Avoid placing product on plants. Apply product by hand in dispensing directly from container to smaller areas as spot treatment. Avoid creating piles of bait. Keep measuring utensils with pest control products out of reach of children. Immediately clean up any spilled bait. Application Rates: Vegetables including (but not limited to): asparagus, artichokes, beans, beets, black-eyed peas, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cantaloupe, carrots, cauliflower, com, cucumbers, eggplants, garlic, lettuce, onions, peas, peppers, potatoes, radishes, rutabagas, spinach, squash, Swiss chard, tomabes, tumips. Use a rate of 0.5 -1 lb product per 1,700 square feet for area treatment or 1 tsp product per square yard. Scatter the bait around the perimeter of the vegetable plot to provide a protective barrier from slugs and snails entering the plot. If slugs or snails are inside the plot, scatter the bait on the soil around the base of the plants and between the rows. Do not broadcast treat entire area. Apply at lower rate if infestation is low and pellets can be applied near localized infestation. For heavier infestations, apply at higher rate. Reapply every 14 days while slugs or snails persist. Berries including (but not limited to): strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, boysenberries, loganberries, and raspberries. Use a rate of 0.5-1 lb product per 1,700 square feet for area treatment or 1 tsp product per square yard. Scatter the bait around the perimeter of the berry plot to provide a protective barrier from slugs and snails entering the plot. If slugs or snails are inside the plot, scatter the bait between the furrows near the base of the plants. Do not broadcast treat entire area. For small plots, treat around the base of the plants to be protected. For heavier infestations, apply at higher rate. Reapply every 14 days while slugs or snails persist. Grape Vines Use a rate of 0.5-1 lb product per 1,700 square feet or 1 tsp product per square yard. Scatter bait evenly at the base of vines and between rows. Use higher rates for heavy infestations. Reapply every 14 days while slugs or snails persist. Fruit Trees including (but not limited to): apples, avocados, apricots, cherries, grapes, melons, peaches, plums, nectarines, citrus, and pears. Use a rate of 0.5-1 lb product per 1,700 square feet or 1 tsp product per square yard. Scatter bait evenly around the base of the trees. Use higher rates for heavy infestations. Reapply every 14 days while slugs or snails persist. Outdoor Omamentals Use a rate of 1 lb. per1,700 square feet. Use a teaspoon to evenly scatter bait in a 6-inch wide circular band around the base of the plants to be protected. Reapply every 14 days while slugs or snails persist. Outdoor Containers Use a rate of 1 TSP per container. Scatter bait evenly on the soil surface of containers or scatter evenly around the soil near containers. Reapply every 14 days while slugs or snails persist. Lawns Use a rate of 1 lb. per 1,700 square feet. Scatter bar evenly in area where slugs or snails are observed. Reapply every 14 days while slugs or snails persist. Storage and Disposals: Storage: Store in a cool dry place, out of reach of children and domestic animals. Store in original container only. Disposal. If Empty: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. If Partly Filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
