Magic crayon (optional): 1. Draw on undyed egg with magic crayon to create the pattern or design of your choice. 2. Dye egg following the directions below. The dye will not adhere where the crayon was placed, magically showing off your masterpiece. Stripe (optional): 1. Position the striping bands around the eggshell and color the egg as directed. 2. Add or reposition the striping bands and repeat dyeing until your desired design is achieved. Directions: 1. Start with clean, cool, hard-boiled eggs. 2. PAAS® coloring methods: For ultra-vibrant colored eggs - add a tablet and 3 tablespoons of vinegar to a PAAS® color cup or a 1 cup container. For traditional colored eggs - add a tablet and 3 tablespoons of lemon juice to a PAAS® color cup or a 1 cup container. For pastel colored eggs - add a tablet and 3 tablespoons of water to a PAAS® color cup or a 1 cup container. Tip: for the pink dye tablet use water method to achieve the brightest pink color! Once the tablet has dissolved, add 1/2 cup water and stir gently. 3. Bend egg dipper. Gently place egg in color bath until desired shade is obtained. The longer the egg stays in the bath, the darker the color will be. 4. Remove egg, drain well, place in drying tray and let dry. Beads (parental supervision required): 1. Take a pencil and lightly draw your design on the egg. 2. Using the enclosed glitter pen, squeeze a small amount of glitter onto a cotton swab. 3. Use the cotton swab to place glitter on egg in area where beads will be placed. Tip: Work in one dime size area at a time. 4. Place the beads where you have glued, repeat until design is complete. Tip: use tweezers to make placing beads easier. Sequin (parental supervision required): 1. Choose desired sequin. 2. Under parental supervision, hold glitter pen upward and use scissors to cut off tip of pen, then lightly squeeze a glue dot onto egg. 3. Place sequin onto glue dot. Repeat until desired pattern is achieved. Paint: 1. Before opening paint pouch knead packet with fingertips for 10 seconds. 2. To open the paint pouch, tear the perforation off the top of the packet. 3. Empty contents of paint packet onto newspaper or onto the retail box. 4. Dip the paint brush (1 brush per color) into the paint and apply to the eggshell. 5. Allow each color to completely dry between applications. Stamp: 1. Before opening paint pouch knead packet with fingertips for 10 seconds. 2. To open the paint pouch, tear the perforation off the top of the packet. 3. Empty contents of paint packet onto newspaper or onto the retail box. 4. Dip sponge shapes lightly into the paint. Tip: use tweezers for no mess application. 5. Lightly stamp the sponge shape onto the eggshell and allow to completely dry. Stencil: 1. Place the stencils on dry, clean or colored eggs. 2. Using the paint brush or speckling sponge, fill in the stencil design with paint. 3. Use the glitter to embellish your design. Speckle: 1. Before opening paint pouch knead packet with fingertips for 10 seconds. 2. To open the paint pouch, tear the perforation off the top of the packet. 3. Empty contents of paint packet onto newspaper or onto the retail box. 4. Dip sponge shapes lightly into the paint. Tip: use tweezers for no mess application. 5. Lightly press down on the eggshell. Repeat motion until desired pattern is achieved. 6. Allow each color to completely dry between applications. Glitter pen (parental supervision required): 1. Under parental supervision, hold the glitter pen upward and use scissors to cut off tip of pen. Lightly squeeze small amount onto desired area to embellish your designs. Stickers: 1. Peel stickers from the backing and apply firmly to the eggshell to create the pattern of your choice. 2. Overlap and angle stickers to create the best look. Sparkle: 1. Apply while the eggshell is wet for an all over glitter effect. Character egg stands: 1. Punch out enclosed character egg stands. 2. Wrap and insert tabs into slots. 3. Insert colored eggs into stands. Fun time with silly circles: 1. Punch out perforated discs from back. 2. Decorate with crayons and string together to create a necklace or bracelet. To form egg stands, use safety scissors to carefully cut along the dotted lines. Insert slot A into slot B to complete egg stand.
