Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Stovetop Heating Instructions: Heat large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ham steak to skillet and cook 1-1/2 to 3 minutes per side until heated through. Oven /Broil Heating Instructions: Heat broiler. Place ham steak on rack in shallow roasting pan. Broil 2 to 4 minutes per side, 4 inches from heat, until heated through. Grill Heating Instructions: Heat gas or charcoal grill to medium. Grill ham steak 2 to 4 minutes per side until heated through. Microwave Heating Instructions: Slash edges of ham steak at 3-inch intervals to prevent ham from curling. Place steam microwave- safe plate; cover loosely with plastic wrap. Microwave on high (100% power) 2 to 4 minutes. Let stand, covered, 2 minutes before serving. Cooking times may vary depending on wattage of your microwave. Serving Suggestions: By following the above heating instructions, our ham is a great addition to any meal serve with eggs for a morning breakfast. For lunch, slice and add to your favorite salad, soup, or sandwich. Top it with your favorite glaze and serve with vegetables for dinner. Don’t forget kabobs, casseroles, stir fry, and pasta dishes!
