Directions
Keep frozen. Cooking directions: Stove top: 1. Bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. 2. Add chopped kale and 1/2 teaspoon salt, if desired. 3. Bring rapidly to a second boil separating with fork to hasten thawing. 4. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer 10-12 minutes.* 5. Drain and serve with butter and seasonings to taste. Microwave: 1. Place kale and 2 tablespoons water in a microwave-safe casserole. Cover. 2. Cook on high for 5-6 minutes.* Stir. 3. Cook on high for another 2-3 minutes or until tender. Drain. *For food safety and best quality, cook to a temperature of 160 degrees F. Cooking times may vary depending on power of microwave and type of container used. To retain highest quality and texture, do not overcook. Keep frozen until ready to use.
