9" Handling Instructions: Pre-Baked and Pecan Pies: 1. Pies are pre-baked and may be thawed at room temperature for 4 hours. Remove pies from box and remove overwrap before thawing. 2. For a fresh baked taste and appearance reheat frozen pie in oven for 15-20 minutes in preheated oven. Conventional Oven to 400 degrees F, Convection Oven to 350 degrees F and Rack Oven to 380 degrees F. 3. Refrigerate all Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, Vegetable and Custard pies after cooled and packaged. Shelf stable varieties do not have to be refrigerated. Cream Pies: 1. Remove only the number of pies from freezer as needed. 2. Immediately remove pies from individual box and remove overwrap. 3. Apply recommended whip topping or meringue to frozen pies. 4. Refrigerate after topping. Keep frozen until used - Note: Ovens vary, adjust time and temperature as necessary. 9" Baking Instructions: Fruit Pies and Vegetable Pies: 1. Preheat Oven- Conventional Oven: 390 degrees F - 400 degrees F. Convection Oven: 350 degrees F - 365 degrees F. Rack Oven: 380 degrees F - 390 degrees F. 2. Place unboxed, unwrapped frozen pie on a flat baking sheet. Do not use pan liners. 3. We recommend brushing the top crust with a light wash/shine. See your Bakery Manager for proper procedure. Do not apply to pies with special toppings such as caramel, crumb-topped, pecan or pre-baked pies. 4. Bake pies for approximately 45-50 minutes. A golden brown crust and juice seen bubbling is a good indication that the pie is done. * Note - No sugar added pies will not bake as golden brown as regular fruit pies. 5. Remove pies from oven and cool to room temperature before packaging. Vegetable Pies must be refrigerated. Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, Sweet Potato Crunch and Custard Pies: 1. - Preheat Oven- Conventional Oven: 385 degrees F - 400 degrees F. Convection Oven: 350 degrees F - 365 degrees F. Rack Oven: 375 degrees F - 390 degrees F. 2. - Place unboxed, unwrapped frozen pies on flat baking sheet. 3. Bake pies for 45-50 minutes. (1" soft center will firm while pie is cooling). 4. Remove pies from oven and cool to room temperature, approximately 4 hours, before packaging. 5. Refrigerate all varieties of Pumpkin, Sweet Potato and Custard pies after cooled and packaged. Shelf stable varieties do not have to be refrigerated. Southern Custard Pies: * Note low baking temperatures. 1. - Preheat Oven- Conventional Oven: 330 degrees F - 340 degrees F. Convection Oven: 320 degrees F - 325 degrees F. Rack Oven: 325 degrees F - 330 degrees F. 2. - Place unboxed, unwrapped frozen pies on flat baking sheet. 3. Bake pies for 45-50 minutes. (1" soft center will firm while pie is cooling). 4. Remove Pies from oven and cool to room temperature, approximately 4 hours, before packaging. 5. Refrigerate after packaging. Unbaked Pie Shells: Bake, frozen, unwrapped shell on flat baking sheet for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Oven temp 380 degrees - 400 degrees F.
