Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cooking Instruction: Preparation: Remove roast from bag, pat dry with a paper towel, and season as desired. Slow Cooker: Place roast in slow cooker; add 1 cup of water or broth. Cover and cook on low for 7 hours (recommended) or high for 5 hours. Remove roast and shred. Roast: Oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In an oven safe pan over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons of oil and brown roast on all sides. Remove from heat; add 1 cup of water or broth. Cover with lid or foil. Place in oven and cook approximately 45 minutes per pound or until internal temperature on a meat thermometer reaches 200 degrees F. Remove roast and shred. Keep refrigerated.
