For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cook thoroughly. Keep raw meats and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cook All Meats Thoroughly: Cook to a safe internal temperature of at least 165 degrees F. Always use a meat thermometer to determine the temperature. Do not rely solely on suggested cooking times. Cooking appliances vary in temperature and cooking times are a guide only. Cooking Instructions: With both methods, remove net and skin (optional) before serving. Baking: (Preferred) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Remove packaging. Place in an oven-safe dish or pan with skin-side facing up, adding 1/2 inch of water. Cook to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F (approximately 1.5 hours). Grilling: Do not cook directly over coals. Spray grill with non-stick spray. Preheat grill to medium heat (300 degrees to 350 degrees F). For two-burner grills, light one side only and cook away from lit side. For charcoal grill, separate lit coals from center, with drip pan in the middle. Remove packaging and place roast on grill. Turn roast as needed, adding charcoal if necessary. Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F (approximately 1.25 hours). Always fresh never frozen. Keep refrigerated.
