Fitting Instructions: Got braces? Do not attempt to fit your SOVA night guard at home. See a dental professional for fitting. Visit sovanightguard.com/fitting-with-braces for more information. 1. Place your night guard into hot water (160 degrees F-170 degrees F/71 degrees-76 degrees). Use a glass or ceramic bowl. 2. Once soft, after approx. 30-60 sec. Use a metal utensil to remove from water. Do not let the softened night guard fold onto itself. 3. Holding the night guard with both hands, carefully insert into mouth. Make sure the back inner ridge does not fold in on itself. 4. Using your teeth and tongue, gently hold the guard in place. Do not make deep teeth marks. 5. Once in proper position, close lips over the guard, put your tongue to the roof of your mouth, and gently create suction until the material has hardened to a secure fit. 6. Keep the guard in your mouth for 3-5 minutes to set. 7. Make a mistake? You can remold your SOVA night guard up to 20 times.
