Use: push back cuticles then trim hangnails and dead skin around the nail. Work on small areas at a time making sure to never cut live skin. Care: wipe clean after each use. If nipper joint sticks, apply a drop of oil and work back and forth until loosened. If discoloration appears, it is probably the oil oxidizing. Add more oil and gently rub off with clean, soft cloth. Expert tip: For safe, gentle cuticle care: Always work with disinfected cuticle nippers and only use them for trimming cuticles and hangnails. This will keep your nippers sharp so they won't pull the skin while trimming. Gently push back cuticles with a cuticle pushing tool. Pushing cuticles back first plumps them up and makes more visible the excess build- up that needs to be removed (as apposed to live, healthy skin that should remain intact). Condition the nail beforehand with cuticle cream or lotion to help loosen the excess dead cuticle skin. Wipe off any residue before trimming so the working area is dry, not slippery.
