Directions

Cooking instructions: You will need: Medium bowl. 2 large eggs. 1 cup cold water. Vegetable oil (enough to fill skillet 1/8" deep). Large skillet. Mix: In a medium bowl, beat two eggs with a fork until blended. Add 1 cup cold water and mix well. Stir in contents of this package. Allow batter to thicken for 3 to 4 minutes. Stir. Fry: Drop tablespoons of batter into 1/8" hot vegetable oil in a large skillet and brown on both sides. Enjoy with sour cream,* applesauce or simply plain. *When sour cream is served, this dish is not pareve or lactose free. Makes: About 7 servings (about 21 latkes).
