Drinking Tea Begins with Steeping Tea: 1 tsp; 6 oz; 190 degrees F; 3-5 min. 1. Fill your kettle with fresh, filtered water and heat to just short of boiling. 2. Place one teaspoon of leaves per 6 oz water into your pot or infusing basket. 3. Pour the heated water over tea leaves and infuse for 3-5 minutes. Experiment to find your favored steeping time. 4. Enjoy hot or let cool completely and pour over ice. 5. Add the used tea leaves to your garden. They make a healthy fertilizer for flowering plants.
