Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cooking Instructions: Slow Cooker: 1. Remove from package and place in 2-4 quart slow cooker. 2. Add 1 cup of water. 3. Cook on low for approximately 8-10 hours, or on high for 4-6 hours. Verify product reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees F, as measured by a food thermometer. Conventional Oven: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Remove from package and place in 4-6 quart oven safe pot or 8 x 8 x 2 oven safe baking dish. 3. Add 1 cup of water. 4. Cover with lid or foil and cook 3-4 hours. Verify product reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees F, as measured by a food thermometer. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Freezer ready! Packaging is designed to lock in freshness. It should be frozen prior to the use by date on the package.
