Directions for Pan Frying Fish: 1. Wash fish fillets under cold water, pat dry. 2. Beat 1 egg and 1/2 cup water together. 3. Dip fish fillets into egg wash then roll in Sturdiwheat Fish Coating, let fish sit 10-15 minutes (the mix will adhere better during frying). 4. Pour enough oil into a heavy skillet to cover one fourth of fillet while frying, heat oil to 350 degrees-360 degrees (medium heat). 5. Fry fish until golden brown - about 3-5 minutes on each side, only turn fish once, drain on paper towel. Roasted Potatoes: Scrub and cut 4 med. potatoes (peeled or unpeeled) into 1 inch cubes. Combine cubed potatoes and 1-2 tbsp of oil in a bowl and mix. Add 1/3 cup coating mix and stir until well coated. Place on greased baking sheet or 9x13 baking pan. Bake at 425 for 25-35 min. Turn one or two times while they bake. Chicken: Follow directions above for frying fish however oil temperature should be between 300 degrees-325 degrees. Delicious on fish, chicken and potatoes.
