Directions: What you need (yields 1 quart of ice cream): 1 pkg. Junket ice cream mix, 1 1/4 cups of whole milk, 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream. To make two batches at once (1/2 gallon): double the ingredients as stated above. Homemade ice cream: Combine contents of one (1) Junket ice cream mix package with 1 1/4 cups of whole milk and 3/4 cups of heavy cream in a bowl. Stir until dissolved. Pour mixture into your home ice cream maker. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. Easy ice cream without using an ice cream maker: Combine contents of one (1) Junket ice cream mix package with 1 1/4 cups whole milk and 3/4 cup of heavy cream. Stir until dissolved. Pour mixture into 9" x 5" pan and freeze until firm. Break into chunks with fork. Put chunks into small bowl and beat with electric mixer until smooth (about 2 minutes). Return mixture to pan and freeze until firm. Reduced fat ice cream: Substitute reduced fat milk in place of the whole milk and cream.
