Red wine. Vegan: Veg Argentina Certified By Leaf Control The Gran Reserva Malbec is our flagship wine, hand-crafted by winemaker Herve J. Fabre to showcase the stunning quality that Argentine Malbec can produce. The grapes are hand-picked from low-yielding vineyards which are at least 60 years old, and go through a two-stage selection before a long, slow fermentation. The wine is then aged for 12 months in new French oak. On the nose it has ripe black cherry fruit with perfumed elegance from hints of violets and liquorice. The palate is smooth and rich, with plenty of rich fruit, layers of soft oak, and lighter floral notes. Enjoy now or cellar for a few years for even more depth and complexity. www.vinalba.com.
