Planting your micro dome. Planting and Care Information. 1. Place your decal on your terrarium base. 2. Place the germination disk inside the base of the dome and slowly add 3/4 cup of water directly on the disk. Use a spoon to spread the mixture that will immediately start growing. 3. Use the spoon to aerate and evenly space soil across the dome and press smooth. 4. Spread your seeds on top of the germination mixture. You can also put your fairy garden stake in. 5. Press seeds into soil. Do not cover your seeds, they need light to germinate. 6. Put lid on base. Place planted terrarium in bright indirect light, where it will not easily be knocked over. Eastern and southern exposures are best. 8. Seeds will germinate in 1 to 2 weeks. 9. Keep top on and prune plants to encourage them to rebloom and discourage leggy growth. 10. You will need to water once a week or so, more if you do decide to remove the top. Try to keep the soil slightly moist at all times. Note: Contains superior soil! Compressed soil disk includes natural additives, such as worm castings, kelp, and other nutrients that will nourish your plants to help them thrive! You may want to add additional nutrients after a few months to keep them flourishing! 11. If your fairy wonderland is drying out too quickly, you can use tape to cover side vents. However, side air flow will help keep your plants healthy and happy!
