Directions

How to Use: 1. Remove food from oven, turn on the digital display by pressing the on/off button on the unit. Press the f/c button to select the correct units of measurement. Insert thermometer in the thickest part of the meat, immersing the stem at least 1, but not in contact with bone, fat or gristle and wait for the temperature to stabilize. 2. The digital display will automatically update every second until a stable reading is reached. 3. If additional cooking time is needed, remove the thermometer from the food and return the dish to the oven. 4. The digital display can be powered off or will auto-shut off after a few minutes. Battery Replacement: Open the battery compartment by loosening the screws on the front of the thermometer. Pull gently to remove the top housing being careful not to pull and disconnect any wires. Use a tool to push and remove the old battery out of the metal holder away from the wires. Insert a new battery with the plus sign up into the metal holder. Snap the top housing back onto the lower housing and tighten the screws.
