Directions

Keep refrigerated. Perishable product. Microwavable. Fully cooked. Ready to eat. Serving suggestion: To enjoy edamame, first peel the shell. You may squeeze the soybean pod between you fingers to release the beans, or put the pod in your mouth and suck out the beans, discarding the empty pod. Edamame is ready to eat, or may be heated and salted or seasoned for taste preference. Heating instruction: Microwave method: Entire package: Remove cover, microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir gently. Microwave on high for another 30 seconds. Let stand for 1 minute. Microwave ovens vary. Time given is approximate. Boiling method: add entire package (8 oz) of edamame into 0.5 gallon boiling water in a kettle. Blanch for 3 minutes, drain, and serve. Note: To dilute salt content in edamame, this method is recommended.
