A skin allergy test must be conducted 48 hours before you use this product, even if you have used coloring products before. Patch Test: You can test on either: Inside your elbow, or behind your ear 1. Clean a small spot of skin with soap and water; pat dry. 2. Pump a little color in a plastic or glass container, mix well. Do not use metal utensils. 3. a. Use a cotton swab to dab a small amount of the mixture on the skin area the size of 2x2 cm and wait. b. Let it dry. Leave it uncovered for 48 hours. c. After 48 hours, gently wash the area with soap and water. 4. Check for redness or swelling: a. If you see redness, itching, swelling, or burning, do not use this product. Talk to a doctor. b. Even if the patch test is okay, watch for any reaction during full application. Directions (Use only as directed): Wear gloves. For optimal results, apply on dry hair; comb and section. Shake bottle. Dispense a single pump of Quick Color Shampoo onto your gloved palm and mix well with fingertips until it is uniform. Rub gloved hands together and gently work mixture into hair using palms or fingertips, adding more as needed. Massage into hair thoroughly to ensure even distribution. Let sit on hair 5-15 minutes depending on percentage of gray. For 50% or more gray hair, process 10-15 minutes to deliver up to 100% gray coverage. Do not leave on longer than 15 minutes. Rinse well. Follow with Conditioner.
