Previously handled frozen for your protection. Refreeze or keep refrigerated. To ensure quality, refrigerate and use or freeze by the date indicated on the front of this package. Freeze up to 30 days. Thaw sausage prior to cooking. If using a cooking thermometer, sausage is cooked thoroughly at 165 degrees F. Preparation. Gas or charcoal grill: pre-heat gas grill to medium-low heat. (If charcoal, allow to burn until white ash forms on embers). Place sausage on grill, 7-9 inches above the heat source. Grill sausage, covered, for 15-20 minutes or until browned and the sausage internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F, turning links often. Skillet: spray a skillet with cooking spray. Add sausage. Cook over medium-high heat until browned, about 5 minutes, turning links often. Reduce heat to medium-low. Carefully add 1/2 cup water to skillet. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until the sausage internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
