Directions

Teriyaki sauce: Combine 2 Tbsps. Sushi Chef® dark soy sauce, 2 Tbsps of Sushi Chef® mirin, and 1 Tbsp. sugar in a small saucepan. Heat until sugar is dissolved. Baste chicken, beef, or fish with sauce while broiling or pan-frying.

It is made in the traditional method of careful brewing and aging, which results in a warm, richly flavored cooking sauce. Mirin is used in marinades and dipping sauces, and in such popular dishes as teriyaki, sukiyaki, and tempura. The following recipe is for a delicious teriyaki sauce. Sushi Chef® mirin is gluten free. Alcohol 8% by volume.
