Safe Handling Instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Preparation Instructions: Thaw frozen product in refrigerator prior to cooking; internal temperature of cooked sausage must reach a minimum temperature of 165 degree f. Grill: prepare grill to medium-low heat. Grill covered for 15-20 minutes and rotate sausages occasionally until cooked thoroughly. Stovetop: heat skillet over medium-high heat. Add thawed sausage and turn occasionally until cooked brown, reduce heat to medium-low; add 1/2 cup of water & cook for an additional 10-12 minutes to reach minimum internal temperature of 165 degree f. Storage: to ensure the best quality and longest shelf-life, use immediately or freeze up to 60 days. Previously handled frozen for your protection. Keep refrigerated.
