Directions

Step 1: Unfold lighter prior to use. Lighter can be lit in any position. Step 2: Roll wheel forward with thumb and hold. Step 3: Press ignition button with index finger. Free lighter of obstructions and fingers prior to folding. Do not apply excessive force when folding or unfolding lighter. For multiple lights: hold wheel in forward position (step 2) and repeat step 3 for each new light. To adjust flame: move lever on top of lighter toward "+" for higher flame or toward "-" for lower flame. Refilling instructions: use only quality butane fuel with vapor pressure of 28-34 psi. Recommended Scripto universal butane fuel.

Caution:
Do not fill over containers such as sinks or trashcans. Butane vapors will tend to settle to the lowest point.
1. Position utility lighter with the refill valve facing up and center the fueling tip of the butane fuel cartridge with the recessed metal tip of the refill valve.
2. To fuel, apply firm pressure on the cartridge for a few seconds, until full. Stop when fuel sprays back.
Keep out of reach of children. No lighter is child proof. The child resistant feature of this lighter is not a substitute for proper supervision. It may be possible for small children to operate this product if left unattended, which could lead to serious property damage, injury, or death.

Caution:
Ignite utility lighter away from face and clothing. Do not use to light cigarettes, cigars, or pipes. Be sure flame is out after use. Never expose to heat above 120 degrees F (49 degrees C) or to prolonged sunlight. Never puncture or put in fire. Do not keep lit for more than 30 seconds. Follow all instructions and warnings provided by manufacturer of appliance when using this product. Failure to follow instructions may result in bum injury. Do not inhale the contents.
